Stardock BootSkin Vista is a program that allows users to change their Windows boot screens. Unlike other programs that can change the Windows boot screens, BootSkin Vista does so in a safe manner. It doesn't patch the Windows kernel. Nor does it require the user to download replacement Windows kernels to do so. Boot screens that use BootSkin Vista are typically under 20K compared to other boot screen programs whose files are over 2 megabytes.

I like using LogonStudio to customize my Windows Logon screen.
I like BootSkin Vista because it allows me to customize the Windows Boot screen, further personalizing my computer.
The Boot screen files are small..therefore do not slow down your PC.Cons
The status "loading" bar at the bottom of screen sometimes does not show.
The free trial does not let you create your own bootscreen..not even for a limited time, or number of times.Summary
If you liked LogonStudio, you'll like BootSkin Vista. Having both programs let's you create, and enjoy a more "personalized" computer.
