IDAutomation's Free Code 39 Barcode Font allows the ability to print letters, numbers and some symbols with the Code 3 of 9 symbology. This barcode font is a fully functional freeware font for qualifying organizations. IDAutomation has included Microsoft Access, Excel and Word examples in the Windows version and additional examples of OpenOffice Calc and iWork Numbers and Pages for the MAC version in the package. TrueType and OpenType font versions are provided.

Standard windows TrueType font. Can be easily integrated into MS Word macros (a unique feature unless you shell out more than $250.00. Able to encode long strings of alphanumeric characters. Dead simple to use without any learning curve. FREEWARE!

Requires a licence for at least one other ID-Automatiion product. Otherwise you are breaking the law. So, please don't advertise this as freeware.

Once it is installed, it is wonderful... best thing since sliced bread, or sliced numbers even. :)

During installation, it stalled, had to cancel and reinstall for it to completely install.

This software is extremely useful, but the double installation requirement confused me for a bit. I would have preferred it succeed the first time round.
