Free Archon Code 39 Barcode Font for Business helps tech teams add barcodes to internal workflows fast. It offers free, unrestricted use and Code 39 symbology support, so most scanners read labels reliably. The set includes A–Z, 0–9, and basic symbols, making it practical for SKUs, bins, and asset tags in everyday operations.

Free Archon Code 39 Barcode Font for Business installs like any font and works across common apps through TrueType compatibility. It ships with Human-readable and machine-readable variants, letting teams show text under bars or keep labels minimal for compact layouts and quick scanning during internal inventory tracking.

Getting started with barcode labeling fast

The quickest path to working labels is straightforward: install the font, type a code, then switch the typeface. Free Archon Code 39 Barcode Font for Business keeps friction low by behaving like any standard font, so teams can generate barcodes in documents, spreadsheets, or databases without extra utilities. For internal workflows — receiving, picking, or asset tracking — it’s a practical baseline that scales as catalogs grow and scanning becomes routine.

Usage is simple but precise: the start/stop asterisk requirement means every value must be wrapped with asterisks, for example, ABC123, so scanners know where to begin and end. Avoid spaces; use the hyphen-as-space handling rule to keep a single code intact. For dependable reads, print at sizes that suit your media — size 24 worked consistently on basic inkjet tests — supporting scanner-friendly performance across typical office and warehouse settings.

For teams needing comparable tools, BarcodesInc Free Code 39 Barcode Font and IDAutomation’s Free Code 39 Font offer similar workflows, though packaging and docs differ. Strengths here are zero cost, easy rollout, and broad app support. Trade-offs include a limited character set and suitability for internal tracking only; retail UPC/EAN labels still require GS1-issued identifiers and proper label design, so plan accordingly when standardizing barcodes across operations and customer-facing packaging.

Developer’s Description

Create barcodes for your business or personal use.
The Archon Code 39 Barcode Truetype font lets you quickly and easily create your own barcodes for personal or business use. There are absolutely no restrictions. It's not a demo, there is no limited timed trial, and your business does not have to make under a certain dollar amount to use it.

Once you create barcodes, you can then print them out using sticker labels and attach the codes to your items. Now, your items can be quickly and easily scanned with any barcode scanner. Paired with inventory software, you can use the font and labels to create your own internal inventory tracking system. It's perfect if you want to finally organize your inventory and create a barcoding system for your small business.

The font supports all letters and numbers plus characters such as dashes and periods.

Just as a reminder, for your codes to work with a scanner, you have to include the "*" characters at the beginning and end of your code. This tells the scanner when to start and stop scanning.

For example, a barcode made from using the text *inFlowInventory* will produce "inFlow Inventory" when scanned (without the * symbols).

Included in this download is simply the Archon Code 39 Barcode font as well as a shortcut link for help and more information if needed.
