CNET installers contains bloatware!

- To be fair to RAR Expander, I didn't get to review the program. When I noticed that bloatware was going to be installed on my Mac, I quit the install process.
- Cons
- This Download.com installer contains bloatware/spyware from Spigot, as well as hijacking your browser with extensions that will reset your firefox and chrome homepages as well as redirect you to custom search pages. You can disable this at install (scroll down to bottom of terms of use), by checking "advanced user" install. You'll still have to manually disable all the bloatware one at a time by unchecking each one.

- Use the Download.com / CNET installer at your own risk. I won't be downloading anything here anymore. Shame on you Download.com and Spigot.

Ok, but ...see has problems

- It functions OK but each time it does not expand and combine rar part automatically. I have to go to the DL files and choose the files to combine and start with file (rar part 1) or it gives an error message.

- For some reason each time it expands a file, it also adds a copy of Lightroom 4.3 installer package on my computer. I don't know why and how to stop it. I then have to eject the LR package. Last night I dl a program with 6 rar parts and I then had 6 Lightroom 4.3 packages on my computer that I had to eject.

- I think this program has potential, but needs to solve these problems. It drives me crazy that it ALWAYS adds the Lightroom 4 installer package with each rar.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Mar 17, 2013<p/>It seems that the Lightroom 4 installer package only opens when the rar expander has rar parts to expand and combine. I still don't know why and there is no link that I can find to make that happen.<br /><br /><span class='notifyMsg'> Updated </span>on Apr 12, 2013<p/>The LR installer problem stopped when the new LR update was released. I now give the program 4 1/2 stars only because it doesn't combine the expanded RAR's automatically.
