Beneath this clipboard manager's deceptively drab exterior lies a smart set of clip-management tools. Rather than holding one clip at a time, as the Windows Clipboard does, M8 Multi Clipboard can hold up to 30.
If you want to save a particular clip, you can store up to 30 in a single group. From there, you can create up to 100 libraries, each holding 100 groups. The libraries, groups, and clips can be renamed for better organization, and it's easy to move or copy clips from one group to another.
The program's other notable features include built-in text and image editors. The crowded interface makes much more sense after a visit to the help file. We wouldn't recommend M8 Multi Clipboard to rank PC novices, but anyone looking for a powerful clip manager will appreciate the features in this especially generous 60-day trial.

Version: M8 Free Clipboard 12.02
Pros: I've been searching and haven't found anything better yet.
Cons: The single most important feature from my Mac clibpoard extender doesn't seem to be available at all on ANY PC extender. I'm guessing it's not possible to code that feature on Wintel PC's but it's a disappointment all the same.
For the record; the feature I'm looking for is the chance to press ctrl+c followed by a number (without releasing the ctrl key) then later ctrl+v then that number and have the correct numbered clipboard pasted. i.e. no need to have the extender come to the front at any time. So if anyone finds this functionality PC side pls let me know.

Pros: It simply makes my life much easier on the computer
Cons: What's not to like......it's free and it saves a ton of time once you learn to use it!!

Pros: I got this when Yankee Clipper suddenly stopped working. I still would prefer to use YC, but this is doing the job for now.

Pros: This is an excellent multiple clip programme.
Cons: It has been spoiled by the greedy author. After allowing me to use the free version for about three years, I am suddenly being bombarded by pop up pester messages.
Summary: I have written to the author requesting that the pop up messages are only initiated when using cut and paste, however, they have ignored me an continue to allow their programme to run at random on my pc.
