"Old but good"
Version: Countdown 3.4
Pros
This is some ten-year old code. A very nice utility. Can count down or up to / from practically any important event in your life you can think of.
Cons
Not free. They are nagging you with a demand for $19.95.
Summary
It was a shareware many years ago, then they announced it's free, now they claim it's free but demand money. But the program remains fully frunctional and fun to use. Can not be maximized, but one can resize it, so that's OK.

"Amazing, just what I was looking for."
Version: Countdown 3.4
Pros
- Exact time remaining, in any units you can think of
- Easy to add, edit, and remove events
- Easy to set dates for new events
- Simple, clean interface with obvious information bolded
- Large range of dates available to programCons
- Unable to set events that repeat every week/month
- No visual aid to see time remaining; not something you really need though.Summary
A simple and easy-to-use interface, powerful options, yet it doesn't slow down my computer at all. Recommended for people who like to see how much time they have until something is due, both for planning and to prevent procrastination.

"You get what you pay for."
Version: Countdown 3.4
Pros
A simple design, not too hard to use. For those looking for a free, simple countdown clock (or multiple countdown clocks) this is pretty good.
Cons
The software does have some bugs. If you don't use the Minimize to Tray function in the software, but rather, use some other method to minimize the program, the countdown will freeze. I've lost the countdowns I've programmed in, only to have them mysteriously reappear after shutting the program down and restarting it twice.
