"Handy, useful tool for a great price!"
Version: iClock Pro 1.1.0
Pros
This program is very helpful. I work with people all over the world so the location times in the drop-down menu are convenient and save me a lot of time. The customizing of the clock is ideal and much better than Apple's boring clock.
Cons
None so far!

Summary
Today is the 9 February, 2011.
The message below is a copy of one I sent to you on the 2 February, 2011 and I have not yet received a reply.
I have given the download facility you provide another try but it the Mac iClock Pro link continues to down load the 'zip' file , which is for Windows OS and has nothing to do with the MacOS.
Please...would confirm you have received this message and advise as to the procedure I need to follow to download the Mac software I have paid for.
As a suggestion, perhaps you could attach the download and email it to me.
Regards
John McKenzie
Hi,
Order Number 52692 Order Date : 2011-02-01 22:24:59
The link ***********
does not work and gives the message:
"Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (iclockpro) isn't associated with any program".
I've tried to download the Mac v1.1.1 using the link you have on the Macintosh page but it persists in defaulting to 'iclockpro.zip'. Very frustrating.
I've gone backwards and forward through your web site during the past hour and a half and I cannot download this Mac version because it keeps defaulting to a Windows version.
My serial number is ************
Please help me.
Regards
John McKenzie

"Good useful little program"
Version: iClock Pro 1.1.0
Pros
Very useful program to see the date and time at the top of the screen. You can access a calendar too and other stuff. I recommend the product.
Cons
I see no problem with the product. I am on a Imac using the latest 10.6

"If only it would work!"
Version: iClock Pro 1.1.0
Summary

This thing claims to do almost exactly what I want. Pity it falls down.
The settings are "fragile". The time menu frequently disables itself, which is highly inconvenient.
The alarm settings are totally inadequate.
The user manual looks big but why does it have to be online only? Why can't we download a PDF for convenient reference?
On the other hand, a closer examination suggests that the manual is mostly froth and bubbles. I want to learn how to set more than one alarm. Can i do it from reading the manual? Hell no! The manual says almost nothing. If I really can't set more than one daily alarm, the whole reason for buying this tool goes out the window! And I think, from trial and error, that I cannot set more than one daily alarm! Grump grump grump.
Forget about asking the developer for help. Waste of time.
I have more complaints but this is enough. I'm through with it.

"Still sucks."

It keeps dropping off after running *censored*tail and just restores when it feels like it. Sending a message to the company is akin to shouting down a well. They have, or will give, no response whatever. -
"No problem at all with this product"
Version: iClock Pro 1.1.0
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
I have been using this product for a while. I had problems in the beginning, but now on 10.6 latest version, it works fine. I used the basic function to have the date and time at the top of the screen. My machine is customized using French and English at the same time. The display of the date and time is perfect like I want it. -
"Still flawed"

The developer still doesn't get it!
The utility is still in beta. Another way of saying we are the developer's free quality control department (FQCD). Yet they expect to be paid for the software, bugs, shortcomings and all. Until we pay, we do not have access to all of the features. So how the hell can we evaluate it, report bugs, request improvements and do all of the other things that the FQCD is asked/expected to do?
Until I can evaluate all of the features, I will never pay for it. Other software developers know how to sidestep this chicken-and-egg situation, why can't these guys wake up (and sniff the missing revenue stream)? -
"...also..."

Summary

...the settings occasionally change spontaneously. After a computer re-start, it can be that there is no longer a display of date and time. Go to System Prefs/iClock Pro and, if you're lucky, you're faced with the checkbox "All Menus Enabled". Check it but, unless you're lucky, you will get a hyphen and the Time Menu or the Date Menu is not enabled. I went to the Time Menu pane and clicked "enable Time Menu Extra hoping that would fix the non-display problem. It didn't. The tick in the check box would not endure.
The usual fault-finding things like rebuild permissions, re-install the utility, run DiskWarrior, even zapping the pRAM achieves nothing.
This bug was compulsory in beta 19 so, naturally, i confirmed that it is beta 21 that I'm installing.
Also, a recommendation for the developer: When it's working, under the Time Menu is a section for setting alarms. Since this is so important to the utility, I think some extra flexibility would result from inserting option check-boxes in the time Menu pane. -
"Lovely"

This small app pleases me sooo much. The only thing I feel inconvenient about the date & time in menubar was that it doesn't show date information. iClock pro does the job nicely and I'm happier than ever. -
"Sigh"

Summary

The bug in version 1.0b20 has been fixed but there is STILL no way that I can see, to access and configure the various times for a chosen list of remote cities.
