Works flawlessly! I use it to restart my Vista system everyday at a scheduled time.
Cons
None. I just checked boxes 2-4 in the Startup section.
Summary
A small electric plug icon sits in the system tray, showing at a glance if it is activated or not. And even though Switch Off has not been updated since 2002 and though Vista is not listed, it still works great. I've used it for several months. For me this is a must have program!

It does shut down at a specified time and schedule with options for weekly, daily etc. Good for once off uses but not regular schedules.

No option to set a schedule of shut downs at different times on different days, such as weekends.

Single click to lock your desktop - allows you to leave your screensaver non-password protected while still having a very easy, single click way to lock your desktop.
Cons
help docs for command line options don't indicate '/lock' as a valid switch, but it does work - so it is just a problem with the documentation, not the program.

I created a shortcut in my quicklanch ("swoff.exe /lock") that allows me, with a single click, to lock my desktop.
This is GREAT if you don't want a password protected screensaver but still need to lock the desktop from time to time (eg, from the kids!). Turning on and off the screensaver is too tedious, so this great utility in your quicklaunch gives the same functionality with a single click!!!
Been looking for this for a while, tried many alternatives - this is by far the winner for the task I described above. -
