PopChar is a utility application that lets you insert special characters, accented letters, umlauts, from all installed fonts into your documents. You never need to search for or remember complex keystrokes again. Just pop up the PopChar window, click the desired character, and the character is inserted into your current document. PopChar works with modern applications that support Unicode as well as with older applications that support only the smaller ASCII character set. In Unicode mode, PopChar makes it easy to navigate and search within fonts that contain thousands of special characters.
What's new in this version: Version 5.5.2 fxes a problem where PopChar Win 5.5.1 did still not launch correctly on some 64 bit Windows XP configurations.

Pros
I have used this wonderful program for many years. It has consistently saved me much effort and time and proved to be indispensable. I wish all software was as well designed and stable as PopChar for Windows. Outstanding customer and technical support as well.
Cons
I have yet to encounter any problems or shortcomings.
Summary
The latest version (5.4) continues to add functionality and ease of use. I could not be more pleased. A+++

This product is amazing! how many times have i been looking how to insert that one special character like:

WEll no more timewasting!
I can just click on the start-up icon and choose the character i want in mere seconds!

I have just installed PopChar for Windows, version 1.0b7. It is a simple
but amazing tool!
My compliments - the Windows version is as impressive as the MacOS version!
It works fine and is an execellent tool for whoever wants to insert special
characters.
