Royale Noir Theme for Windows

Royale Noir Theme is a free customization tool that significantly alters the visual aesthetics of Windows XP. This theme introduces a sleek, dark palette dominated by shades of black and grey, reminiscent of the Vista Beta 5112 theme, albeit without the transparency effects. It aims to provide a more sophisticated interface by changing the appearance of various elements across the operating system.

The theme enhances the user interface by modifying the borders of Microsoft applications to black, using lighter shades to differentiate elements, and providing a softer background for inactive title bars. However, it is important to note that the Royale Noir Theme is not fully developed, which may limit its usability for the average consumer. It is primarily targeted towards users with technical expertise, as installation may pose challenges for non-IT professionals.
