Version: e-PDF 2.0
"A piece of crap and a rip-off."
Cons: I purchased and downloaded this supposed "Editor for Adobe Acrobat files" foolishly not paying much attention to Terms and Conditions. I paid ~$50 for a 3 year license. When I opened my file to edit it, it was all mangled (e.g., "fe" was replaced by "N"). The editor requires to be in "Design" mode. It has barely 10% of required editor functionality. All you can do is select a word, cut and paste it.
After about 10 minutes of this I called support to ask to return it. They said that they would credit my card back in 7-10 business days (I am yet to see that) and that they will retain $9.95 "processing fee" (which was supposedly in Terms and Conditions). Even if it is, I consider it completely unreasonable "cost" for downloading a program and using it for 10 minutes.
After this experience, I actually found real Adobe Acrobat 8 at Software King for the same price, which is mine to keep, not an annual license that has to be renewed. My suspicion is that everyone returns the software, and the only way they get the money is this "processing fee". If I did not have better things to do with my life, I would sue the company.
