Version: WordWeb 4.5a
"1,362,590 downloads...I can see why"
Pros: WordWeb 4.5a gives you instant word definitions, synonyms, and antonyms. This thesaurus/dictionary can be used to look up words and check your spelling at the same time. WordWeb sits in your system tray next to your clock which makes it very handy to use. It is small and fast and uses very little system resources. Oh, I forgot to mention...It is FREE! Try WordWeb today. I recommend it and give WordWeb 5 stars and two thumbs up!

"Coolest dictionary for your Computer"
Pros: I think every computer should have a dictionary on it...unless you happen to be a walking verbal SAT genius. The program is small and fast. It runs the background and takes up very little space. The previous versions never crashed on me, and this one is running just fine also. Best of all, it's free.
Cons: Nothing much to complain. I enjoy this program. One could argue for more features, but I personally like it small and compact so it won't use a lot of system resources.

"Why I still have it with me?"
Pros: I completely agree with the editors review except the rating
This utility is specially good when I am offline and working on a script. Unlike other dictionaries this has a wonderful collection of words from many professional disciplines also.
Cons: A little bloated but can handle it considering its a freeware!

"Quick offline tool for writing."
Pros: Thesaurus is great and offline access is great. The definitions are simple and come quickly. Actually, the tool generally runs very quickly and I haven't had any hick-ups.
Cons: The webpage that this tool searches with is awkward. So for online word definitions, I recommend the answers.com toolbar.

Version: WordWeb 4.5a
Pros: This product is convient. All I have to do is hit Ctrl + Alt + W after highlighting a word and it will tell me the definition of and synomyms for the word. Infact I used it to check the spelling of the word Convenience. I had spelt it wrong. I had spelled it conveniance instead.
Cons: great, no problems.
