Version: Word Counter 1.5
"Does just what it's supposed to do! :)"
Pros: I'm a recent convert to Mac OS from Windows. I haven't splashed out for a full blown word processor yet, but working on an OU course I needed a word count for my assignments.
Word Counter does just what I need it to as I work with TextEdit.
Cons: It's a bit of a bore having to drag, or copy/paste the text into word counter's text box.
That isn't really much of a reason to gripe about it though. As soon as the text is pasted into the window you have your word count at the push of a button.
