I used to like this program... but when i found out about WinRAR,.. I find WinRAR much easier, faster, and supports more formats! Get WinRAR! Winzip is a complex program.

It creats zip files if your computer cant normally run them.

.rar files are better now and winzip doesn't use them. It is a demo and must be reinstalled every few weeks.

I am not happy with zip compression algorithm. Rar or Ace file is over atleast 20% compressed than Zip. If Winzip compresses a 100 mb file, it may become 30 mb after compression & for winrar it will be 20 mb or less. Why will i use winzip !!! Winrar can handle all the features of winzip.
