WinToFlash starts a wizard that will help pull over the contents of a windows installation CD or DVD and prep the USB drive to become a bootable replacement for the optical drive. It can also do this with your LiveCD. You don't have to worry about scratches on the disc or misplacing your original media discs once you transfer their contents to the flash drive. The optical drive is quickly becoming a thing of the past, especially in office environments, as media is shifted to the cloud.

The product does seem to do what it is advertised to do

The Russian EULA is a bit off-putting
At several points during the install process, the installer wanted to install different tools - the "Blekko toolbar" opt-out happens early in the install process, and a second opt-out later occurs for another app by the same company that seems to suggest products based on your browsing patterns (probably in a similar manner to Facebook or Google). To opt out of this one, select the advanced install options - the only "advanced" option available is to opt out of this install, which I did.
Also, at several points during the install process, the installer displays advertisements for other companies and products, which I didn't find invasive - I don't begrudge 'em a living, but I don't like browser plug-ins.Summary
One thing I'd like to say about the Russian EULA: on a forum, someone asked for an English version, and someone apparently representing the company replied this was a standard EULA, and the OP should use a translator to see, but there is no official English-language EULA at this time. I took the rep's advice and used Google Translate. The rep is correct, the EULA doesn't seem to contain anything an American EULA would not contain. It's pretty long, so I've put the Google Translate version here. Mind you, I could type any old crap, so if you want to confirm that I haven't doctored their EULA in any way, I recommend that if EULAs concern you, you should go through the cut & paste process to get a translation yourself. It takes literally seconds.
