Editors' review

Microsoft Outlook and Palm-based applications tend to dominate calendar and contact-management software, but this solid organizer is worth a second or even third look. With a clean interface, and one of the best feature sets in the market, it certainly rivals its better-known peers. It includes slots for storing a wide range of personal information about contacts, even including details such as birthdays, photos, and family members. Appointments or tasks can be associated with specific contacts, to make them easier to track and find. The program supports CSV and vCard formats, so contacts can be exchanged between WinPIM and other similar applications. E-mails can be sent, and addresses, contacts, notes, and schedules can be printed from inside the program. It includes space for an e-diary, and offers a sophisticated calendar that can be kept years in advance. Information can be shared with other users online, even through peer-to-peer networks. The program supports multiple users on a network, with each person's information secured by a separate password. With this broad range of well-designed and well-integrated features, we would happily recommend WinPIM to anyone looking for a PC-based scheduler, contact manager, and planner.

"Constant errors, crashes and slow support"

    April 12, 2014   |   By cgeo09

    Version: WinPIM 12.62.3390

    1.Attractive program with nice icons.
    2.Auto linking to email.
    3.Price compared to similar software.

    1.Crashes constantly
2.Fields are not imported from Outlook correctly.
3.Have to purchase separate software from them to import from Outlook.
4.Must open contact to view links.

Constant errors and crashes and support is slow to respond. It has been over a week and I am still waiting, after emailing my database for their inspection, to receive a reply or a fix.
