Simply put, this program saves you the time and trouble of creating a calendar from scratch using Microsoft Word and Excel. It also manages to throw in a few extra features that make it worth the price of admission.
Once installed, WinCalendar for Windows, Word and Excel is accessed directly through each of the mentioned Microsoft programs. It introduces a small desktop calendar that is perfect for quick glances, and allows you to add notes to specific dates. In both Word and Excel, the program adds an extra tab to your menu toolbar. The program is extremely easy to operate. In Excel, we located the WinCalendar tab and were presented with straightforward commands. Creating a new calendar was as easy as choosing the type and range of the calendar (monthly, full year, schedule, agenda), size, and orientation. The Options menu let us choose to start the calendar on a Monday, exclude weekends, and change the primary color of the calendar. By default, the program includes U.S. holidays on the calendar, but you can select a different country from a drop-down menu, or opt to not include any holidays. The program even includes setup for an ovulation and fertility calendar. We liked that all of the calendar configuration options were displayed in one easy-to-navigate window.
The program's built-in Help menu is ample, but not overwhelming. As far as trial limitations, the program includes a watermark on the calendar that cannot be removed until you register. Users of all skill level will appreciate this program's capabilities to simplify and automate calendar creation.
Publisher's description
From Sapro Systems :WinCalendar is both a pop-up date picker and calendar maker that creates printable calendars in both Microsoft Word and Excel formats. The calendar creator now supports over 100 different calendar layouts. You can import appointment data from both Outlook and Google Calendar. You can even save daily appointments in the pop-up calendar that display on created calendars. WinCalendar can also be used as a graphical fertility calculator and ovulation predictor. WinCalendar is toolbar and menu driven so there is no template to load and manage. WinCalendar is ideal for use in planning and scheduling. It has built-in holidays for 10 countries and even works stand-alone as a desktop calendar.
Version 2.57 supports importing data from multiple shared MS Outlook Calendars.

"Can't Uninstall + No Input Unless Purchase Full Version"
Pros: None. The program is of no use unless the full version is purchased.

Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.57
"WinCalendar is fast and easy to use"
Pros: I bought WinCalendar to pull my calendars from Google Calendar into Word so I can print them out the way I want them. The import tool is easy and does a pretty good job.
Cons: I did have to do some clean up. Seems like it imported a few items twice but I had my calendar up and ready in 5-10 minutes.
Summary: I didn't want to maintain two calendars, one online and on to print, and this software is helping me avoid that. The software is simple to use and makes importing my calendar from Google Calendars into Word fast.

"I hate the pop up windows and do not use it at all!"
Pros: Nothing. I don't like it.
Cons: I cannot remove this application from my computer because when I do, I get error messages every time I open MS Word! I would get rid of it if I could, because it did not satisfy my need for a calendar application anyway.

Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.57
"Excellent calendar print formatting"
Pros: - allows more formatting options than google calendar
- allows multiple google calendards to be inserted in a word/excel document
- well integrated with word/excel toolbars
-surprisingly fast insertion of calendarsCons: -inserted calendar can't be updated in situ but must be deleted and re-inserted
-inserted calendar can reference only 3 google calendars. I need more.
-the Windows popup calendar always starts the week on SundaysSummary: Getting data out of a special calendar format into a word document opens up all sorts of possibilities for formatting and using the data. Perhaps an ability to prsent the data in XML would be a useful widening of the possible applications. After o... read more >>
