Publisher's description

WinCalendar is both a pop-up date picker and calendar maker that creates printable calendars in both Microsoft Word and Excel formats. The calendar creator now supports over 100 different calendar layouts. You can import appointment data from both Outlook and Google Calendar. Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.53

"Free version does not even create a wall calendar!"

by cktheratings on January 25, 2009

Pros: Nothing - "free version" is unusable!

Cons: Only created the little 3-month pop-up calendar shown in the illustration. Totally unusable application... could not even tell from the demo version what my calendar would show if I purchased the program.

Summary: Could not explore any features or functionality from the "free trial" limited version.
    I am running Vista 32-bit.

    "Great for Importing/Printing Google Calendar"

by Scytmo on January 25, 2009

Pros: Creation of calendars in Word or Excel allows a lot of flexibility over how printed calendars will look. Being able to import Google calendar makes this the best looking, most flexible way to print Google calendars.

Cons: Must already have Word or Excel. The registration fee is more than I would have liked to have paid to be able to print Google calendars in a usable form - but WinCalendar really seems to be the only option for a usable 'Month' view printout.

Summary: We are migrating our family calendar from a traditional print calendar hanging in the kitchen, to using (and sharing) Google calendar. However, the printed calendar in the kitchen is still often the easiest way to see what we have planned, or to ha... read more >>

Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.53

"Currently the best way to print a Google Calendar"

    by Filer42 on January 17, 2009

Pros: Imports easily from Google Calendar, Allows you to use the features of Word or Excel to customize your calendar (you can add titles, graphics, phone numbers, or whatever your needs are to your calendar). Runs from within MS Office. Wraps event text.

Cons: Sometimes cannot read a calendar file from Google; once imported might require additional editing of calendar events to achieve desired formatting style. Standard version limits importing of calendar events to only 3 months.

Summary: I use google calendar to keep my personal and work schedules, plus an activity calendar for our church. Google's calendar works great but has limited printing features -- it only prints as a pdf, events are truncated, some might not be listed at al... read more >>
