From Sapro Systems :WinCalendar is both a pop-up date picker and calendar maker that creates printable calendars in both Microsoft Word and Excel formats. The calendar creator now supports over 100 different calendar layouts. You can even save daily appointments in the pop-up calendar that display on created calendars. You can also import appointment data from both Outlook and Google Calendar. WinCalendar is toolbar and menu driven so there is no template to load and manage. WinCalendar is ideal for use in planning and scheduling. WinCalendar has built-in holidays for 10 countries and even works stand-alone as a desktop calendar. Version 2.42 adds a enhanced graphical fertility calculator and ovulation predictor.

Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.42
"A quick and easy time and family management tool"
Pros: Easy to download, easy to quickly create a calendar in Word format. Type in just like in Word--no boxes will pop up to ask you what "type of event" or "is this recurring?" The text appears as typed, not with several words chopped so it fits the box
Cons: I haven't tried any of the more sophisticated applications for the program, such as inputting from Google Calendar. I haven't come across any drawbacks to the program yet.
Summary: I have been looking for a calendar where I can just click on a date, get a cursor, and type in an event. Nothing pops up asking for a specific time, or if it should be repeated. It is simple and easy to use. I save an entire year on my desktop, ... read more >>

Version: WinCalendar for Windows, Word & Excel 2.42
"A clever calendar utility with some powerful uses"
Pros: Easy install. Seamless integration into Word and Excel. The ability to connect to Google Calendar sources make this this only tool I've found that can make editable calendars from Google's online calendar service. Amazing tech support.
Cons: The current version (10/5/08) has the limitation of only one Google Calendar source per calendar. (This option is supposed to be included in the next release.)
