As simple and fast as an electric can opener, WinASO Registry Optimizer offers a hassle-free system tuneup. It finds errors related to your Registry, custom controls, shortcuts, drivers, fonts, shared programs, and configuration files. We were pleased to find you can sort its search results--a useful feature when dealing with long lists. Before deleting found entries, the program suggests backing them up in case something goes wrong.

It also provides a simple tool for cleaning traces left by various applications, such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, and ICQ. WinASO doesn't slow system performance when scanning in the background, though the trial version will correct only 10 faulty files. You'll have to buy it to get any real benefit, but PC novices and time-pressed experts will find WinASO Registry Optimizer a good addition to their PC-maintenance regimens.

  Pros: I've tried several registry tools and this one is my favorite! It did improve my PC performance and never caused any trouble to me (my PC crashed before using some other registry cleaners). I'm so glad that i finally find one that can be trusted!

  Cons: So far nothing bad found.

  "Wonderful stuff!"

  Pros: Powerful cleaning mechanism, absolutely safe

  Cons: So far it does not support Windows 7. Hope this can be updated soon.

  Summary: I've been using winaso for years. It never let me down. Compared to other registry cleaners I tried, it is much more safe and does its cleaning jobs decently. I highly recommend this soft.

  Pros: I've been using this for several years, and NEVER had a problem. Trust is very important when deleting registry items! Newer versions are getting quicker, and there are also additional very useful tools. It's free.

  Cons: Can't think of any.

  Pros: Brilliant piece of software,very friendly,and easy to use,and extremely quick to run a compete scan of my computer (53700 files ) in minutes,rather than an hour like others i have tried
