The purpose of the free VProfile tool is to allow a system administrator to generate local user profiles on a workstation without the user being present. If you need to set up a computer for a user and if you need to move data into their profile then you need them to log on so their user profile is created.
There are complex and sometimes quite expensive system management tools that can accomplish this task or circumvent the issue, such as with SCCM or roaming profiles. There are other strategies for working around this issue, such as asking for a user's password, but with this tool you don't need any workarounds.
When you run this tool you simply need to type in a user account and with a few clicks the user's profile directories are created, as if they logged on for the first time. This allows you, as a system administrator, to populate their user profile folder with any data they should have.
