From IT OnTime :The Request Management System is software specialized for end user requests. RMS uses the Service Delivery Management (SDM) model of Catalogs containing user-oriented forms. Users fill out the form to create a Service Request. The RMS workflow engine then manages the Request through the fulfillment process. The notification system sends emails to the request owner let them see the progress on their request. Request fulfillers receive emails when work enters their inbox. This continues through the lifecycle of the request resulting in an audit trail of request activities.
Version 2.2 features: the width of RMS screens was increased to 1024 pixels from 800 pixels; ASDI Users, Groups and Workers feature makes available LDAP (Active Directory) users and groups as RMS users, groups and workers; Database Backup and Migration Wizard allows you easily backup your RMS database; Sort Requests in Request Review lets now sort the request list presented in request review by any of the fields. The version also includes enhancements and bug fixes.
