From IT OnTime :The Request Management System (rms) is a product for building Service Delivery Management (SDM) catalogs. rms replaces email, phone calls and written notes with a well-organized submission process. rms serves as the front-end for IT services requests, marketing materials development, legal documents, and report preparation and multi-step process where the requestor does not do the fulfillment. rms includes form and workflow tools for building custom SDM Catalogs. All development tools are point-and-click eliminating programming and scripting. Service users log in to create requests using their browser. The workflow engine tracks requests creating a complete fulfillment. rms reports this or exports it into an XML file.
Version 2.1 added Oracle for storing request data, XML Export, new secured data storage attribute that encrypts data for storage, support for CDOSYS.DLL as a mail transport, over 50 bug fixes and minor enhancements.
