SyncMate allows syncing Mac with Windows Mobile, Android and Nokia S40 devices, iPhones, iPads, iPods (Touch & Nano), other Macs or PCs, Google and Dropbox accounts, any mounted storage devices, Sony PSP and allows backing up data online.
SyncMate is offered in Free and Expert editions.
Free SyncMate lets you sync Address Book and iCal between Mac and supported devices. Sync with Google and Dropbox accounts is also available. Free SyncMate offers 50MB space of online storage.
Free edition allows reading messages from Windows Mobile, Android, iPhone or Nokia right on Mac, share Internet between Mac and Windows Mobile devices, analyze detailed information of connected WM devices.
Expert Edition will sync iTunes, iPhoto, Safari and Firefox Bookmarks, Entourage and Mail Notes, ToDo's, Mail, Time, Stickies and separate folders (sync options depend on the device you are syncing). Expert Edition offers 200MB of online storage (data encryption is also available).
SyncMate Expert offers AutoSync option which lets you set various parameters of automatic sync for any of supported device.
You can sync Folders between Mac and mounted storage devices, other Macs, Sony PSP or Windows PC in real time, i.e. once you have changed any data on your Mac or connected device, it will be synced immediately.
With Expert Edition you can create, send, delete, search and export text messages from Android, Win Mobile or Nokia on your Mac. You can install any .cab files on your Win Mobile phone right from your Mac!
SyncMate Expert allows converting videos to AVI, MPG, MP4, WMV, ASF, 3GP and audio files to MP3 and WAV prior to syncing them to device (iTunes&Video plugin).
Sync can be performed via USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Ethernet (depends on synced device).
SyncMate is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 and higher. Device compatibility: Windows Mobile 5, 6, 6.1, 6.5; Nokia S40 devices; iOS 3, iOS 4 and iOS 5 devices; Android 1.x, 2.x, 3.x, 4.x; MS Windows 2000, XP, Vista, PSP (Firmware 2.7.1 or higher).

Pros
I have used syncmate for sync of my old samsung i900 with MS Outlook. Now I have a brand new Galaxy s2 and syncmate is perfect for android. I'm happy that my samsung can be synced with macbook pro as easy as with windows 7.

Don't have background autosync feature

Finally I can sync my mac with mobiles using one app. Tired of installing separate apps to sync each phone (Android and iPhone)...

synced contacts only, haven't tested other options.
Summary
Syncmate works fine with my new Galaxy Nexus and iPhone, I sync them wirelessly with my Mac. I moved contacts from my Address Book to mobiles successfully. I wish you guys add iCloud support one day.

"nice way to sync calendars for free"

Pros
what I love about syncmate is that it syncs appointments for free. I do not need all of those extra benefits of expert edition right now, but there are several features that make me thinking of purchasing paid version.
