You might wonder why the world of Macintosh software needs yet another stock ticker or stock checker. The goal of StockStatus is to provide a minimalist user interface for this oft repeated task. That is, quick and simple access to your stock quotes right from the Mac OS X Finder menu bar eliminating the need to stop what your doing to open another application or web page in order to check on your stocks.

What's new in this version: This is the initial release, version 0.5, and implements the basic features. There is a long list of intended future features on the StockStatus website - priority will be decided by user feedback, so let me know what you'd like to see!
