The software presents a familiar Windows Explorer style interface and is easy for anyone to use with little or no training. Paper documents are scanned into standard folders and can be stored alongside your existing office documents. A key word index provides fast searching across thousands of files.In addition to straightforward document scanning, all aspects of the scanning process can be pre-defined in document templates to make repetitive scanning tasks simple and consistent.
Version 6.1 b225 supports PDF, TIF, and JPEG file formats, can be readily integrated into an existing system to add document scanning capability to legacy systems.

Pros: nice interface
Cons: It let me open the folder with my PDFs in it. It told me to click on the PDF file I wanted to open. I did, and nothing happened. It told me to select a TWAIN device, but the window had no devices to choose from. I guess I need a TWAIN driver. Why didn't the program contain one?

"OCR function says requires black and white image"
Cons: OCR function says requires black and white image. 256 greyscale -- no go. 1 bit black and white -- no go; still gave the "requires black and white image" error.

Pros: there's nothing good at all about this program, it scanned and then froze everytime
Cons: After scanning it got stuck in a loop, for such a small program it eats memory: 187,000kb of memory, and 50% cpu power.
