"Does the job, does it fast, does it well"
Pros: Fast and efficient. Program is stand-alone (no installation). Effectively recovers recoverable files on a wiped-out SD card (using FAT32 filesystem). You can copy recovered files on another drive, without altering the original drive.
Cons: Recovers also files that are partially lost. It could be ssen as a usefull feature, but It can be a bit confusing when you recover a lot of files.
Summary: A very useful software that can save your day! And yes, it's completely free!
Does an equivalent job than other highly-prices software out there.

Pros: Price: free
Cons: Did not work on camera card.
Summary: Did not work on a 1 GB SD camera card using WIN 2000. Explorer found 6 photos out of 25, but this program found none.

Pros: great tool.
Cons: no issues at all.

Cons: Do not put all your hopes on this software.
Summary: It's ok if you want to recover just a couple of lost files. Even so there's a big chance that you may not. It helped recover 5 of the 20 something files I was searching for.

"OK, but canīt save to a remote drive"
Pros: Seemed to find a lot of my lost files
Cons: You can not save to a remote drive so, once files are īrecoveredī you can never try to recover again using this or another program with any hope of different results. So in the end I chose not to even try to recover my files with this program
