Version: Snap Survey Software 9
"Poor and Costly customer support"
Pros: You pay a lot for very poor customer support. Support rarely picks up the phone. Messages are rarely returned. They want you to send email and provide the worst instructions which is frustrating as the instructions make no sense. You pay about a $1,000/yr for the above support, several functions do not work and no attempt is made to resolve them. I would not recommend this product that my organization is stuck with.

Pros: looks are good, ease of use probably too
Cons: a trial version with only 10 questions and only 25 respondents? Completely useless!! I would never buy a license at 1000's either.

"Not a user friendly tool for new beginner"
Pros: I have just started use it so ... no idea
Cons: Difficult to use for new beginner
Summary: My university gives it as free survey tool for students and I found it is difficult to learn and use for new beginner like me especially when comparing to other free sevice online.

"Snap is very powerful, but has a learning curve"
Pros: SNAP can do many of the things that free/cheaper software packages can't, such as design flawless looking surveys, scanning in results from paper surveys (including handwriting) and quick/sharp looking results tables.
Cons: There is a learning curve. I've been using SNAP for 2 years and still have much to learn.
Summary: If you do a lot of surveys, though, it IS worth the investment (both financial and time). I do thousands of surveys per year and this program saves me countless hours in typing in handwritten comments or data entry of numerical variables. The abil... read more >>
