"Not Bad But Deceptive Company"

Pros
Not a bad software package, I have used it semi-regularly with moderate issues, i.e a crash of the application after two hours of work lost. But I carry that one as I should have saved periodically.
Cons
Would I do it again? I didn't and I won't
Summary
I purchased it for full price only to have the new version come out and You guessed it - "We no longer support that version, But you can pay us some more money and get the new version..." I didn't realize I wasn't really buying a license but a subscription which terminated at their discretion. Fool Me Once...

"Work Around for the Watermark"

Don't like the watermark of course!
Summary
To get around the watermark, make your drawing then save it as a .png file. Open the .png file and click on the 2nd to ast icon which says "saves this program and opens the image for editing". Open the image in Paint (from accessories), use the brush, select the color as white (or whatever color your background is in) and white out the watermark!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found a great workaround for the "watermark" - all you have to do is use some sort of shape waaay down at the bottom of the page, maybe even just a line (which is what I did). Then, export as a png or whatever kind of image file you like to work with, and crop the document! The watermark only appears in the very lowest, right-hand side...so putting something useless and superfluous at the bottom, out of range of your work, takes that thing right out of the equation! I imagine you can crop that out in just about any editor, even Microsoft's standard windows viewer? Anyway - with this in mind, this was great for creating a site map for a very complicated site, in very little time.
Cons
A little slow, and a little klunky. But it gives me a lot more options than I imagined in a piece of software like this.

"Sucks harder then a ShopVac Vacuum!"

Absolutely horrible, never had any problems with downloading from downloads.com until this program. I downloaded it through download.com and opened it, but it then froze up my entire computer to the put I had to shut it down and restrat it. I even then went directly to the site to see if maybe it was a flaw from download.com, which I doubted, but when I tried to download the trial from their site it froze up my computer again before the download even finished. I give up on this software and anything this company creates! Time to start looking for something that actaully works!

"Nice program, annoying trial gotcha"

It's a nice program. I think it's easier to use than Visio. I was using it to do an Entity Relationship Diagram for one of my university classes.
Cons
HUGE trial watermark in the lower-right corner of your saved document.
I worked on the diagram for a few hours and then went to save it to turn the diagram in, and SmartDraw places a huge "Made with a trial version of SmartDraw" watermark in the lower-right corner of the drawing. I can't tell you how MAD this made me. No where, not even on download.com, is there any mention of this limitation in the trial version. If I had known this, I'd have downloaded something else or used Visio at the computer lab at school. As it turns out, I ended up having to place a transparent entity in the lower right corner to expand my image and get the watermark off my diagram.
This kind of underhanded, sneaky practice is enough to make me not buy this program. I was considering it in the beginning, but not anymore. Its the kind of thing that makes you wonder what other "gotchas" the program has that they fail to inform you of.

"Not what you would expect"

I can't give anything good about the software because it doesn't allow you to use any of the forms, charts, etc. Download at your own risk. You will have to buy to use what you want.
Cons
It will be a waste of your time to try the software. Did I say TRY? oops, my bad. I meant to say DOWNLOAD the software. All it allows you to do LOOK at forms and documents but you will not be able try it for yourself.
