Though the trial version of this application comes with some serious limitations, we were impressed with the overall potential of this project-management software. SharedPlan Personal Edition is geared for the individual or small-business owner looking to organize projects and allocate resources efficiently and effectively. The well-designed interface is uncomplicated.With each new project, you can add tasks, then assign specifics, such as how many people you'll need to complete a project, what your resources are (human, financial or otherwise), and priority level and deadline scenario. Final reports are easily generated using three included templates: task-based reports, progress reports, and reports on resources allocated.
The trial version won't let you save data, which makes it close to impossible to build proper reports. That said, SharedPlan is probably one of the most robust project-management applications we've tried out. For the price, it's not a bad option for small businesses.
