Pros

Amazingly simple. If you know where the Return, Tab and the Spacebar keys are you know how to use Scriptware. It's lightning fast and meets every industry formatting standard.

Cons

The only issue I've come across is that highlighting a word and then hitting Backspace doesn't erase the word. Highlighting then typing works as expected.

Summary

I work in the movie business, have read dozens of shooting scripts and in my experience Scriptware meets every single industry formatting standard. Cinovation's web site looks like a throwback to the 80's but an antiquated home page is hiding a great screenwriting tool. I've never had a single software issue but their support has always been first class; in an emergency they were even kind enough to convert a Scriptware file to a perfectly formatted .pdf file so I could e-mail it to a Tony-winning actor. I can't compare Scriptware to anything else since I've never had a reason to try anything else but in over a decade of use Scriptware has never let me down. Give it a try.
