Publisher's description
From Provtech :From the developer: "ScreenPrint32 allows you to print the full desktop, active window, predefined area, or user selected area of the screen with a single key press. You can add user defined headers and footers with date and time stamps etc, resize the printed image, convert to greyscale or negative image, fade or resize the image to reduce toner or ink usage. You can capture screen images and save them to a user-selected local or network folder in either GIF, BMP, JPG or PNG formats with user configurable file naming. You can use ScreenPrint32 to capture an area of the screen to your clipboard and paste it directly into your documents. ScreenPrint32 can be set up to be completely transparent to the end user. It is easily configured with user specific or global settings, which are persistent after reboot. ScreenPrint32 is free to register for home/personal use with no functionality removed."

Version: ScreenPrint32 3.1
"Great for saving lots of screen caps quickly in XP"
Pros: Easy to install and use. Works very quickly and is not a system resource hog. Captures and automatically names and saves the file on your HDD (where you specify) pressng the PrintSC key.
Cons: Not compatible with Windows Vista. Works great in XP or 98, but won't run in Vista. If you know of a program that does this in Vista, let me know. Thanks.
Summary: I use it to capture a certain area on my desktop -- a pre-defined rectangle -- which it saves to my HDD and I can get a lot of caps quickly this way. The software is free for recreational use, and I have never seen it crash or hog system resources.... read more >>
