Scratchboard is a personal organizer designed to provide rapid access to your important information. This information can be arranged in a "tree" structure, not unlike a hard drive. The users can easily work their way through the tree to find what they need. Each branch of the tree contains a text "leaf" which can be copied to the clipboard with a simple double-click. This makes Scratchboard perfect for quickly filling out forms, or even for storing corporate knowledge. The program includes calendar, calculator, character map, search and replace tool, bookmarks, macros, skinnable interface, spell checker among other options.

Version 5.3 added support for unlimited keyboard macros and asterisk wildcards to the Search and Replace dialog; added the ability to set the editbox tab-stop distance; eliminated the need for GHELP.EXE. The main application executable will now handle displaying the help file. The hotkey for the Tree menu is now "R" (so as not to interfere with the Tools menu hotkey). Selecting a bookmark will no longer pollute the history with intermediate branches.
