Recovery for Word fixes corrupted Microsoft Word document files (.DOC). It recovers documents of all modern file versions, including Word 2003/XP/2000/97/95/6.0, embedded graphics, OLE objects, charts and drawings, text and formatting, password-protected files (if password is known, recovers headers and footers, fields and bookmarks), and restores formatting applied by styles.
What's new in this version: Version 5.0 has added supports for Microsoft Word 2010.

"Useless demo"

Pros
None. This demo software doesn't truly showcase what it can do.
Cons
I extracted nothing when in fact the documents were easily extracted from notepad or wordpad. The output document only included a few weird characters and a link to the software's website.

It did bring back some of the file, but one that was approximately 3 saves old.

Didn't recover the newer changes that had been saved.

Unfortunately, if you are using the demo, you get just that...an incomplete document. Portions of text replaced with "demo demo demo"
