Pros: Acurate - Suports lots of diffrent file types to save to. Easy to use, and lots of options.
I prefer it to the likes of ABBYY Fine Reader.
Cons: None really.

"Created a digital copy JUST LIKE my original - Very well done"
Pros: My original document is setup in landscape mode with text separated into 2 columns. I tried other apps but the ReadIris Pro app was the only one that was able to recognize the document JUST LIKE the original. It recognized the text very well, oriented it into landscape mode, and even separate it into 2 columns. It basically recognized it just like the original! It did not recognize some formatting like bold or itallics, but it did save me a ton of time in retyping AND reformatting (esspecially since the original has 2 columns). Great app.
Cons: It did not recognize some formatting like bold or itallics. Also, the help could be a little better since I had to figure out what the best options were for a landscaped 2 column document. BUT it did get the job done!

"Not very good. Faster to retype it."
Pros: Easy to use.
Cons: Its useless. Faster to retype it. I am using Microsoft Word, and it will take 5-10 minutes correcting the scanned file. The scanned image in their screen will be correct, but when brought up in the three programs I tried, it was full of mistakes; Spelling, structure, missing letters, font different from one letter to the next.

"Generous 30 day trial with literally no limitations"
Pros: The intuitive Interface is very easy to learn and operate. In the output word file the format of the original doc, like fonts, bold, italic is imitated.
I mean not only text but the format is copied.
Cons: When I tried to open a long pdf file as a source, it just opened the first 50 pages and I don't know how to convert the remaining of the doc. Perhaps, because I'm still running on Demo but I'm not sure. Check with them if you need to convert long pdf docs.

Pros: After trying various other OCR products, this one is REALLY good. It is quick, very easy to use, and does an excellent job at identifying text -- some really nice features, too
Cons: the price would stop me from buying it, as I rarely use such software, but if scanning text is something you do a lot of, it is probably worth it. The user interface could be better, too.
