The read-only ReadMe files that are included with virtually all programs contain information that is critical to the safe installation and use of the user's software. These files require users to navigate through what are often large documents to find the information that is important for their particular system. Unfortunately, users can't mark, edit, save, or print just the information that is important to them. ReadMe Converter allows users to print, edit, or save only the part of a ReadMe file that is of use to them -- they can also drag selected text to the Desktop to make their own clippings files. This saves users time, disk space, and the need to refer back to pages of unnecessary documentation. ReadMe Converter is extremely easy to use, doesn't require launching a separate application, and doesn't get in the user's way.
