QuickMile for

Publisher's Description

From Daycounter, Inc.:

QuickMile is Palm Pilot software which allows you to manage your most important automobile information. QuickMile allows you to:

  • Track vehicle mileage for the purpose of documenting your most important IRS tax deduction. Currently, the IRS allows up to a 36.5 cent deduction per mile that you drive. If you are driving 50 miles a day for your business this could mean that you can write your self a tax free check for $565 each month. (See your tax advisor for details.)
  • Schedule vehicle maintenance, including but not limited to oil changes, air filter, fuel filter, tune ups, breaks, etc. With QuickMile, you just select the which type of maintenance that you would like to schedule from a drop down list, and it will automatically remind you when it is time for servicing.
  • Track servicing history. Whenever you perform scheduled servicing, you can mark it as completed, and QuickMile saves the servicing record as part of the vehicles servicing history.
  • Organize your vehicle identification information. QuickMile allows you store the VIN and license plate number for each of your vehicles, so that it is on hand when you need it.
  • Record vehicle insurance information. It is always wise to have your insurance company contact information on hand, in case of emergencies.
  • Print detail reports. QuickMile's powerful desktop software allows you to print vehicle mileage reports for your taxes, and vehicle maintenance and service logs.
  • Export your data to spread sheet programs such as Excel, and word processing programs. This allows you to create custom reports, in any format that you need.
  • Metric or Imperial Units. You can specify your data in miles/gallons or kilometers/liters.
  • Back up your data with a two way sync. Having a two way sync means that when you HotSync, you can transfer data from the desktop to the palm, and from the palm to the desktop computer. This ensures the minimal possibility of data loss. Other competing products only a one way sync, which means if you ever lose the data off of the palm, it is gone for good.
