Version: PointeCast Publisher 4.7
Pros: If you're looking to share a basic presentation, this program does it very well. No rocket science degree required. Great for automated presentations inside the company, but I would not publish this sort of interface on the web for customers to see. But it is "chimp" friendly.
Cons: Its simplicity is also a weakness. The program has its own interface when previewing on the web. While this does a great job of giving the user controls to navigate the presentation, pause, etc., there is little you can do will the output file. Meaning- if you are looking for a program that give you 1 single SWF file that you can incorporate anywhere or on your own web page, you won't find that here (at least I couldn't). Also, noted in my sample presentation- the animation timing was sloppy in some cases; sometimes too fast, other times too slow, etc.
