This life-planning program combines a solid concept and functionality with a serviceable but amateur-looking interface. In Pathways Personal Life Planner, the three basic notions are outcome, an event you plan for; activity, a component of an outcome; and path, a sequence of events. Based on these ideas, you can calculate the time commitment, overall odds of success, and financial prospects for a given plan. You can fill in people's names and which activities you need to perform with them. An alarm reminds you of when you should start an activity. The program is tricky to use, but the New Project wizard and the clear tutorial help. The installation is somewhat nontraditional, since you have to enter your name into the license agreement. People who want to organize how they conduct personal or business development might appreciate Pathways Personal Life Planner.Publisher's description

Version: Pathways Planner Free Edition 4
Pros: This software had a lot of goal oriented planning which I liked. It was also very flexible and had a great tutorial. Also worked in Vista.
Cons: Glitch, Definitely Not perfect. Some of the captions on the windows where you type in titles for your goals just didn't work. I think that is also why a lot of people here found the software confusing.
I will admit that it does take some figuring out, but a lot of that is hindered by software glitches, and how many steps that you need to take just to do one simple thing. Just switching to the address book requires that you set up something completely unrelated to it first, and it is the same way for the to do list, calendar etc.
This software needs to be simpler to use and it needs more work to get the bugs out of it. The interface could use a little work too. Then it will be worth the download.

"Definitely use the tutorial."
Pros: If you're looking for detailed self management, not just a calendar, it seems to be good.

Version: Pathways Planner Free Edition 4
Cons: This is the most confusing "calendar" program I've ever seen. I tried to understand it, but gave up... Finally deleted program from my computer.
