CNET Editors' review
If you can't get yourself organized with PIMOne, consider counseling. This well-designed information manager packs an outstanding array of tools into an exceptionally good-looking package. The attractive, notebook-style interface uses tabs down the right side to provide quick and easy access to the main modules: planner, task list, contact book, memo pad, and holiday list. There's even a password vault for storing and filling out Web logins--an unusual and welcome feature. The program can automatically shut down the computer, send e-mail, and do other simple operations on schedule. If that weren't enough, a nifty sidebar offers a clock and a calendar, a sticky-notes function, and an e-mail checker for POP accounts. All the essential PIM functions are in effect, including recurring events, customizable reminders, and a flexible task display. Voice memos would be a nice extra, and integration among modules could be better. For example, your contacts' birthdays don't appear in the planner. Overall, though, PIMOne is a superb organizer and an excellent value.Publisher's Description

"Looks good, but can be better"
Version: PIMOne 5.1
Cons
It has a great interface, but there are some things that I wish it had. I cannot get the program to save information when it's just a company. Appointment input form is not user friendly when trying to input information for more than a day, and when I imported the wrong information into the wrong area of the program, it took me forever to delete the import information because the program will not let me select more than one item at a time. Eventually, I had to delete the program and re-install to empty out the data.

"Doesn't work well with Vista"
Version: PIMOne 5.1
Pros
Their support company would answer your emails by return but after the first 3-4 replies I had the feeling that they really didn't know anything about the workings of the programme. I will keep with them until I get fed up or they will get fed with sending "workarounds" that don't work.....They came it works well on their Vista machine...i would like to see it ????
Cons
I had problems with the software when I told it to run it as adminstrator...it kept throwing up an error box....I could run it by removing the "run as adminstrator" but then i could not backup my data.

"Lost hours worth of information"
Version: PIMOne 5.1
Pros
It was what I wanted. They did give me a refund when it lost all my work.
Cons
Lost all the information I entered when it stopped accepting my ID/password. Dates must be entered in 24 hour time. There was no way that support could tell me how to get all my info back.

"Great start - need more = but can get get there"
Version: PIMOne 5.1
Pros
I have been working with this product for about a week now, and it does have some nice features, interface, and entry areas. but there are two concerns (1) the reponse from the support is really not good - like it has been 4 days now, (2) don't seem to know what they are plannig for the next release, and (3) they don't seem to "release early and release often" to keep the users interested, working with the product and give new ideas of making it grow! If this company wants to enter the PIM mark, being more responsive is the key - not just leting inquires go unanswered and definitely just don't do the causal - "thanks, ... " response - but again lots of promise - wanting to seem some movement in that direction.
Cons
poor response if any, lack of any ideas of where to take the product, no planned releases - will die on the vine if it is not cared for and giving some attention

Pros
increase productivity.
easy to use.
Cons
need more time to find out the fault(s).

"Not worth it"
Version: PIMOne 5.1
Pros
It looks great. You WANT to like it.
Cons
I worry about a program that adds no marginal value beyond Outlook which has all these features included. If you use Outlook then you don't need this. It looks like this software writer ripped off the Lotus Organizer user interface. I think you'd be better off getting Organizer for $15 off ebay before getting this. Reading the help file gives you NO confidence in the software. The guy couldn't even have it proofread? Also, one of the other reviews, I wouldn't truse sending money to someone so secretive and shady. Good luck if you do.
