Though this conversion tool has a useful wizard to help walk you through the steps of creating a Word document out of a PDF, it hardly makes up for the program's stingy trial limitations and potential for crashing. PDF to DOC can convert PDF documents to either DOC or RTF files via a step-by-step wizard. You upload the file you wish to convert, specify the output format in addition to fonts and page format, and click Go.Though this all seems fair, the demo version allows the conversion of only one page of text. What's more, during testing with a larger document we received an "operating failed due to unknown errors" message. All things considered, PDF to DOC might be a useful tool, but we couldn't really tell given our troubles and the trial window.

Version: PDF to DOC 1.2.49
Pros: It does "convert" images correctly into a DOC file.
Cons: The program converts a PDF file into a series of individual text lines - this is very unhelpful if you are trying to select more than a line of text at a time. Ultimately this program is severely limited.
Another particularly annoying thing is that it does not provide any option of locking onto a particular origin and target folder - so each time you run the program you have to select these from the default location.
