From Titanium's Software :OnyX is a multifunction utility for Mac OS X. It allows you to verify the Startup Disk and the structure of its System files, to run misc tasks of system maintenance, to configure the hidden parameters of the Finder, Dock and of some of Apple's own applications, to delete caches, to remove a certain number of files and folders that may become cumbersome and more.
What's new in this version:
- User and System Dialog Report divided (Cleaning > Logs)
- Enable/disable the Expos�© menu
- Show/hide the Spotlight icon
- Check at launch if the account is administrator
- Help updated and reindexed

"OnyX is quite capable doing general tasks efficiently."
Pros: Like this as you just set it and forget it,
Cons: The only draw back is the pre-checks it carries out, a little time consuming.
Summary: I like this application, its a simple and trust worthy way of keeping my Mac up to scratch.

"OnyX Great! CNET Updates...not so much"
Pros: This is a tremendous utility. This version requires Snow Leopard.
Cons: None, really. It works like a charm, and keeps my machines happy and humming along.
