This basic reminder program forgoes the sticky-note motif in favor of a more consolidated approach. Rather than cluttering your display with tiny individual notes, NotesHolder provides one list, which docks as an unobtrusive vertical line on the right or left of your screen and pops out in response to a hovering cursor. You can add new notes and reminders in tabbed windows, labeling each window by category. The onetime or recurring alarms have gotten a makeover, popping up notifications with a quick beep or an audio file and launching another application at the specified time. Customization options are still slimmer than some competitors', but for the price, the attractive color schemes and font options are reasonable. The database of notes can also be accessed and exported in a text or Excel format. If you seek an efficient and easy-to-use reminder utility, add NotesHolder to your test list.

Pros: It helps me tremendously. I usually lost my paper notes somewhere. It's no longer a problem with this nice little program.

Pros: Love this little program, use it almost everyday to remind me of TV programs, things to do, ect.
Easy to use and you can depend on it working right on time, dont know how I lived without it before.

Pros: I was using Sticker Lite for my to-do list, but needed something with reminder alarms. I tried numerous free programs, and finally found NotesHolder Lite. It does exactly what I want; a desktop sticky/list, and reminders.
I like having all of my items in one window that's easy to look at and edit, and each item on the list can be checked off and have a separate alarm set. It's very easy to setup and use.
BEST FEATURE: Apart from being 100% FREE with full features, it minimizes itself at the edge of the screen, but shows a thin red bar. When you move your mouse over the bar, the list window pops up. You can also set it for 'Always On Top,' but I LOVE this minimize feature.
Cons: -I'd like to be able to change the size of each note within the window, so it's bigger for longer items, and smaller for one-line items.
-It'd be great to have font editing capability. I'd like to change fonts for the items on my list, make words bold, different colors, etc.
Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons, and these are trivial complaints. It's a great free program!

Version: NotesHolder Lite 1.32
Pros: This is a really useful little program. I liked the Lite version so much that I ended up deciding to purchase the full version of this program for $14.95. It's very handy, especially as a to-do list, because you can set reminders but aren't required to list a time or date for every event or note you add. I like this because I tend to have dozens of little "need to get around to" things floating around in my head at any given time, which don't adapt themselves readily to a datebook or calendar program. It sets my mind more at ease to just know that I have it jotted down somewhere for safe-keeping, in one place where I can't lose it. Then if I'm stuck home on a rainy day and feel like squaring away part of my never-ending to-do list, I have a list of things to select from to get done. Basically, I highly recommend this program if you're the type of person (I am) who jots tons of little notes to yourself on paper, such as shopping lists or to-do lists, and then misplaces them and suffers through the nagging feeling that you're not remembering all of it. It's a great and simple little organizer.
If you decide to get the full version, it's even better than the lite version, offering the ability to organize notes into categories that you pick, to run applications or play sounds when a reminder goes off, to use Windows hotkeys, and to export your notes into a file. The last feature especially is handy if you want to make a checklist for shopping or household tasks. Thumbs up, overall, to both versions.
Cons: The only thing I can think of that I didn't really care for is that when typing the date or time for a reminder, you can't tab from MM to DD to YYYY or from HH to MM to SS. Instead of tabbing between these fields, it goes to the next selection, so you have to arrow between them if you are using the keyboard.

Pros: keep your desktop clean, and your notes organized, it's multilanguage, you can add reminders, backup your notes. If you like to see your desktop clean for your wallpapers, themes, whatever, you should install this app,
Cons: use categories to store notes separately just in the pro version, but that it's not a big deal, just download it,
