From Vellosoft :MiniMinder serves up a slick, daily countdown for all the upcoming events you wish to track. You can set yearly, monthly or daily events, events such as the 4th Thursday of the month, events in increments such as every fourteen days, and you can set alarms to popup at specific times throughout the day. Despite all these features and more, MiniMinder still keeps it as quick and simple as could be when it comes to entering your special dates. Version 7.18 is a bug fixing release.

Version: MiniMinder 7.18
"This program is so useful for remembering everything from bills to birthdays."
Pros: What a great tool for those of us who are well-meaning but who are very busy, get side-tracked, or are prone to procrastinate. I've depended on my MiniMinder every day since I've installed it. It is so functional, and yet so simple to use...I use it as a countdown for upcoming birthdays (so I can't forget to get a card and mail it!), to alert me about upcoming payments, etc. And the program hardly takes up any space. The small window that pops up minimizes to the tray and is always accessible. The new Customizer is a great addition, and the developer keeps improving this product by adding various tweaks that have been suggested by users of the program.
Cons: I agree that the alarm feature could be better, but then I don't have a need for this feature (at this point). Although the online Help/Tutorials are easily accessible at the click of the Help button on the Events Editor screen, it would definitely be an improvement if these were made available offline.
