From Vellosoft :MiniMinder is the slick little date-reminder program that gives you an attractive daily countdown for all the upcoming events you wish to track. With simplicity foremost in the design, this program will allow you to have your first half-dozen reminders entered within a matter of minutes. If you start up your computer every day, MiniMinder presents your reminders each time you reach the desktop. If your computer is always on, MiniMinder can be minimized (the orange button) to the system tray, where it uses a minimum of system resources. Features include user-specified advance notice for each event; yearly, monthly, and one-time-event notification; events such as "the second Sunday" or "the fourth Thursday"; events occurring in increments, such as every seven days; and a Till Done event for those of us who don't always get our tasks done on the exact day we're supposed to.
Version 6.27 addresses the ShowOnlyIfEventsInRange tweak, allowing it to be overridden if the Shift key is held down.
