This full-featured mapping application lets you view detailed maps and quickly generate driving directions on your Palm Device. Set up is a snap, just double-click the installer and Mapopolis Navigator will automatically install on your Palm after your next HotSynch. Once the program is on your Palm, you'll need to download the individual maps separately from Mapopolis's map center. The center offers maps for all U.S. and Canadian locations, as well as a wide range of European locations. You can demo maps for free for nine before you have to buy them.
After you have the maps downloaded, you are ready to go. Navigation is straightforward and intuitive, you can drag the map around with your stylus and easily zoom in and out of locations. A zoom-box feature lets you quickly zoom in on locations by drawing a box around the desired location on the map. The detail of the maps is impressive, you can view down to the street level with GPS coordinates and the maps include an exhaustive database of bars, restaurants, museums, and other points of interest. If the map is missing a particular place you want, you can easily add it to the database. You also can search maps by address, street, or place name.
One of Mapopolis's most impressive features is its ability to generate driving directions. Just type in your beginning address and your desired destination and Mapopolis Navigator quickly gives you optimized driving directions. You also can just tap two diffrent spots on the map with your stylus and the directions are automatically generated. Once you have the directions, you can have them read out loud from your handheld. With so many great mapping features, Mapopolis Navigator is the perfect application for anyone who hates to ask for directions.

I've tried lots of mapping programs, and this is the only one that I like. It gives voice-guided driving directions from start to finish, it was the only one that located my house when I searched for it's address, and on top of that is easy to use!
