Businesses of all sizes rely on accounting software to help manage their finances. It's been our experience that many of the available programs don't really make the grade; they're often either too unintuitive or lacking in important features. Unfortunately, Manager Free Accounting Software falls into this category of accounting programs that failed to impress us. It's definitely not the worst program we've seen, but the absence of a few important features combined with a lack of documentation kept us from being too enthusiastic about it.
The program's interface is rather sparse, but in a straightforward, easy-to-navigate way. The whole thing is done in black, white, and gray, with a handful of menus down the left side and virtually no graphics. Recording both incoming and outgoing funds is easy to do, although exploring this area of the program led us to our first major complaint about Manager Free Accounting Software: there's no way to import data from bank accounts, meaning that each transaction must be entered manually. Although this might be fine for freelancers and other very small businesses that don't handle a huge number of transactions each month, it's just not practical for most business or personal users. Manager is capable of creating professional-looking invoices, but again, only if you want to do each one manually, and they're not very customizable; the payment slip includes options for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Diners Club, and there's no way to change them if you don't actually accept all of those payment methods. Other features include a record of bills from suppliers, a journal tool, and a trial balance display, profit and loss statement, and balance sheet. Manager also boasts that it can run in "dual mode," which lets users run the program on a server and access their data remotely, but we found no further information about this within the program's interface or in its meager online documentation. Overall, Manager Free Accounting Software is functional and easy to use, but it doesn't deliver the features that many users require.

Simple, fast and efficient. Nice to the eye and a pleasure to work with. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
