Publisher's Description
From Mirek Wojtowicz:
MWSnap is a small yet powerful Windows program for snapping (capturing) images from selected parts of the screen. Current version is capable of capturing the whole desktop, a highlighted window, an active menu, a control, or a fixed or free rectangular part of the screen. MWSnap handles five most popular graphics formats and contains several graphical tools: a zoom, a ruler, a color picker, and a window spy. It can be also used as a fast picture viewer or converter. MWSnap does not require installation and does not need any special DLLs, drivers, or system files, which can mess up your system.

"Great Easy to Use Screen Capture Utility"
Version: MWSnap 3
Pros
Easy to use interface. Plenty of features for a free utility. Able to save in many formats and edit with photo editor. Found color representation ok saving as a JPG and viewing in Adobe Photoshop. Scanned with Norton Antivirus which found no viruses, spyware, or other risk.
Cons
I haven't used extensively but a first glance this thing works great.

"Simple but effective"
Version: MWSnap 3
Pros
With a very simple interface this software does exactly what it should: full desktop capture, any portion of the screen, or a chosen window. Has a section to add basic cursor images to picture. It can save in several formats: jpeg, bmp, gif, png or tif. Neither adaware or spybot found spyware within it. If all you want is to be able to take screen captures, then this is suitable.
Cons
I did find some of the colours didn't come out as the original, though it wasn't a huge problem.
Also if you're looking for something a bit more advanced to fully edit things then this isn't what you want, it is very basic. Nothing stopping you importing the saved picture into other software though.
