CNET Editors' review
With the Kingsoft Office app, you can view, edit, and send Microsoft Office documents, spreadsheets, and other data on your Android phone. It may not have all of the options found in desktop versions, but this free app proved to be very useful.
The Kingsoft Office main interface includes a row of icons similar to what you'd find in your basic word processor or spreadsheet editor. It handles all the latest Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint file formats as well as text and PDF files. You can create files as well, but if you're working on a touch-sceen keyboard, it could get a bit tedious trying to produce anything too long or complicated. Kingsoft Office works best for making a few changes to an existing file. In our tests, we encountered no problems working with the files we threw its way, and it was a simple process to add or edit text or make other modifications. You won't find all the features or functionality on offer in the full desktop versions of Word and the rest, but the streamlined options seemed to be more than adequate for any changes you'd want or need to make on the fly.
With its solid performance and ease of use, Kingsoft Office is definitely an app to consider if you need to work with Microsoft Office or PDFs on your Android phone.

"So far, so good!"
Version: Kingsoft Office 5.3.3
Pros
I like the ease of use, the simple interface, the fact that it's free, and it seems to work with my Kindle Fire HD 7. Users can insert photos and other items.
Cons
Haven't encountered any
Summary
I have just downloaded this app, so mind you, I am limited in my experience. That said, I am very happy with it so far. I was quite disappointed with OfficeSuite that came with my Kindle Fire HD (actually, I am disappointed with a lot of the apps that came with it!). Kindle Fire HD users will know exactly what I am talking about - I could view documents and spreadsheets, etc, but not edit them, and if I wa news to create a document or copy text into a new file, they wanted me to purchase the OfficeSuite Pro - basically it was a demo, disguised as a full application! I have read other Kindle Fire HD users postings that outline how they were going to take back their new tablets because there was no way to copy sections news articles and other text, just as they could with their old Kindles, so this app might be useful for those who need this type of feature. A big thanks, Kingsoft (& c|net! For making it available to download safely)!!!

"Excellent Free Office Software"
Version: Kingsoft Office 5.3.3
Pros
This has been able to handle any of the documents that I throw at it on my Galaxy Note 2. I am using it with a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard and a Microsoft compatible Bluetooth mouse. This has made document creation and revision on my phone a breeze.
Cons
The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is that it does not seem to support the multitasking component on the Galaxy Note 2. If I want to copy and paste between two documents or two programs (mail or txt)I have to copy then get out of kingsoft, open the other program, past from the clipboard, get out of that program and open kingsoft again. That is just too much when the note will allow multiple programs to run in different windows, if the program supports it.
Summary
It is the best free office software for android that I have found. If they fix that pesky multitasking thing I will drop the cash to get the pro version in a heartbeat.

"It's worth it for the reader and plain text saver alone"
Version: Kingsoft Office 5.3.3
Pros
Many people have the Cruz T301 Tablet whose operating system can be upgraded to Froyo, something that should definitely be done. One of the advantages of the upgrade, is this program will run on your MIPS processor, so far as I can see, with no problems.
By the way, it also runs on tablets with Arm 8 and Arm 10 chips in them with Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich operating systems.
I upgraded the version that I had on the Cruz PS47 right from the Kingsoft, and it even placed it on the SD card where I had the original version, nice not to have to move a program after you install it, and by the way, I give high preference to any program that can placed on the SD card.
What I like is that the text you type in or paste from another source can be stored in any file that you want. Now other people may have had problems with other features of this program, but then you can still try it, because you can move it to the SD card anyway!Cons
I really have to leave that up to other reviewers, but I'm quite happy with the program so far -- oh and it has a price that can't be beat -- Free!
