Now if we could only find an application that would go to work for you, too. Job Designer is a surprisingly robust freeware organizer that offers a full set of managing and scheduling options for any small to medium-size business. The design is easy to use, with clear calendar organization along the top of the main program window and pop-up bubbles that offer more details behind each calendar entry. We like that Job Designer includes a whole set of templates for invoicing, report generation, and scheduling, which eliminates the "design" part of the process and lets you get down to entering important data. One drawback we discovered during testing is that although the program is robust, it requires the use of Microsoft Word or another text editor to display the RTF (Rich Text Format) files it generates. Overall, though, Job Designer is a decent organizer with adequate tools for any busy office, and a good solution for penny pinchers.
Schedule your rooms, equipment, and employees. Have a simple solution to generate quotes, job cards, and invoices. Job Designer scheduling software has multiple views for easy schedule management, and other features such as automatic conflict checking, Internet schedules, automatic time finding, job templates.
